This set of pilot's equipment is all in very good condition even though much used. The helmet is medium size, and all this was issued to my husband as a trainee RAF pilot in the early 1950s. Just to clarify, the final picture shows the interior of the headset earpiece and its excellent condition although the little covers have clearly been doing their job. My husband always took great pride in, and care of all his clothes and particularly, his flying gear. There is a reference number on the strap between the helmet and mask: 6D/1485.
