As you Mathmos Fluidium owners know, when Ross Lovegrove designed the Fluidium, they encountered a problem, where the heat from the 40W bulb was scorching the lamp body. To counteract this, they fitted a specialised heat resisting glass sleeve around the bulb. Very rarely seen with the lamps nowadays as they are easily broken, also not available from Mathmos. Offered here is a glass shield, heat resistant and to the same dimensions as the originals. This will give you years of worry free use without slowly disfiguring the body of your lamp.
