You've got to have a preamp and finely tuned EQ to add punch to your tones. Dial in your ideal distortion with the gain knob and blend just the right amount into your clean signal, then kick it on and off at will.

This is a classic boost that DOD for some reason discontinued - I don't know why, it's great - plenty of power, and a tone knob that delivers punch all the way round. It's hella useful and gives a lot of character to your sound too, a crispness you didn't realise you were missing and a kick you'll miss when you turn it off. The original had a switch that didn't really do anything - perhaps why they stopped making it - that's not here, but the punch and the classiness still is. Hand soldered (with lead) onto a pcb with quality metal knobs and a solid, true bypass footswitch. Needs a standard 9v centre negative power supply (sorry, no room for a battery). Return it if not satisfied, or if it ever needs repairs - that's a lifetime guarantee, you don't get many of them on here.
