This is a beautiful antique Georgian breakfast cup and saucer by the New Hall pottery in a famille rose pattern, dating to the 1790s or 1800s. The larger than usual size cup measures just over 12cm wide and the saucers 15.5cm. Both pieces are extremely well-preserved with only a small star crack on the base of the cup (not visible from above), and 2 tiny flakes off the footrim and 2 adjacent nips off the saucer rim.
