Rare Antique Swiss 1950's Black Bakelite Wall Telephone This telephone was made in the 1950 by WEIDMANN of SWITZERLAND for the Swiss RAILWAYS. This model was fitted to the wall at railway stations all over the country . Like any excellent Swiss engineered product, it a has beautifully crafted internal mechanism. Please see the picture below. The original factory fitted circuit diagram paper inside the case has details. The body in excellent condition. As shown in the picture the internal mechanism is in immaculate condition as expected in Swiss products. Superb telephone for a serious collector (PLEASE NOTE, THE HANDSET IS EMPTY BUT STILL HAS A NICE WEIGHT TO IT)

Bakelite dial Telephone which has been converted with a modern plug however due to the recent updates around the country with fibre it no longer works if you've upgraded.
