An antique 19th century bronze figural top of the jewellery stand designed as a parrot/parakeet. The bird is exceptionally well modelled and cast, with the tiny feather details so I believe it may be French or Viennese. The figure can be easily mounted on replacement stands or other bases. Length: 9cm top to bottom including the mount. Width: 5cm. Condition: ormolu gilding shows significant wear and there is greenish patina in places as shown; please refer to the photos for detail.
