This is an absolutely lovely piece of silver ware with no dents repairs or problems and of the best quality also. Just the woodwork lets it down as the handle has a crack as shown. It has been reglued as shown but if you want to use it with boiling water I would recommend getting it replaced. John Robins was a great baker producing very stylish silver around 1800. The engraved decoration is second to none and typical of his work on this teapot which dates from the year of Nelson's death at The Battle of Trafalgar. 613 grams is the gross weight and it is of classic late 18th century design with its lovely straight spout which pours well. It has a capacity of 6 small cups. FREE UK POSTAGE.
