i am not sure if this is left hand or right hand, but judging by the way it raises when rotated, I would say this is right hand, meaning that it should be placed on the right hand side of the door. if you are a cold room specialist, you can probably tell. if not, check the orientation of your existing hinges to see where and how this item is fitted. the item looks used, but still in good condition. the bits that rub against each other have no wear and tear. judging by the non-existing wear on the mounting holes, it is likely that it was never used, and that all the marks and scuffs are from having been stored disorderly, together with other bits, without any protective material in between, similar to a part of my stock. item sold as seen.
