A PRETTY AND FULLY FUNCTIONAL ORIENTAL PARASOL The fabric is woven but light weight. I-can see no damage whatsoever. Hand painted with flowers and a landscape. The mechanism works well. Having a wooden shaft and wooden spokes of which 2 are broken. I can see no mechanism to keep it open but it stays extended on its own and assume that is how it was designed. Handle is raffia. .
