The kettle measures approx 12 inches (300mm) long by 10 inches (255mm) tall, and is made from solid copper and brass throughout. It holds approx 3 pints, there are no leaks, and it pours without dribbling. The kettle is made to a flat, squat design to aid stability, for use on board ship. It is in good antique condition, with some dings and wear consistent with its age. This is a fine example of its type, by a well known maker and it would make a great addition to any collection.
