A stunning large chess board squares are 42 mm. Board is 60x47x2.5 cm. Very good quality inlay with a mixture of oak and teak and other undefined woods. May have originated from a mid century Scandinavian table , but no marks to indicate this. Construction is similar to examples by Kurt Ostervig. There are some scratches andl separations between a few of the inlaid squares, as shown in photos. Otherwise lovely vintage condition. Obviously, created by a skilled craftsman, but cannot attribute it to any particular designer. There are 8 circular inlays on one side and 5 circular inlays on the other side, which may be able to get an attribution. A stunning board with a beautiful colour and luster.
