This USB C to Mini DP adapter is not compatible with the display of the Thunderbolt interface. It is only available for cable-connected displays from Mini DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort. It cannot be used with Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cables/adapters Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cables/adapters Mini DisplayPort to DVI cables/adapters or Mini DisplayPort to VGA cables/adapters to connect to the display.
