Subject: A famous Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) of "Caesar," the wire fox terrier beloved by King Edward VII. The card notes he was "A PATCHETIC MOURNER IN THE FUNERAL PROCESSION." Publisher: Issued "With the Compliments of SPRATT'S PATENT LIMITED" as an advertising piece. Printed in England. Era: 1910 (following the King's death in May 1910). Printing/Method: Real Photo. Condition Notes: Very good unused condition. Minor wear to corners. No creases. The reverse features a long text post about the loyalty of dogs, which is an advertisement for Spratt's dog food.
