Finely carved Shoushan stone seal of rectangular form, the crest in high relief with two sinuous dragons pursuing a flaming pearl (“er long xi zhu”). The seal face is rare, combining Chinese script with the Latin letters “FF”, indicating a bespoke commission for a Western patron in the early Republic period c.1910.
