Acquired from the parents of the maker, he lived local to Stony Stratford which is where he had his studio. I have been told he now resides in NZ. It’s beautifully made & signed by the artist, I don’t know his name but the initials are RV. It’s also dated, I was told it was made in 1991 but it could also be 1997. It is characterized by its golden amber color and textured "bark" pattern on the exterior, with a smooth interior.
