PROVENANCE: Henry Teesdale acquired the plates from Robert Rowe's 'English Atlas' issued in 1816 and reissued it as his own with alterations under the new title 'New English Atlas'. Teesdale issued the map in his 'New British Atlas' between 1828 and 1842 after which the map reappeared in lithographic transfers until c.1868.
