This is a charming set of Victorian postal letter scales made by S.Mordan & Co. of London. The scales are crafted from solid brass with an oak base , and were used for weighing letters and small packages. As a rare collectable item, they would make a great addition to any collection of interesting antiques . The scales complete with four brass weights measure approximately 6 3/4” wide , 3 1/2” deep and stand 3 1/2” tall with the most wonderful original colour and patina.
