There is a bit of background hum through the speaker peaking at 100Hz and 200Hz (suggesting it is possibly a smoothing/filter cap issue as it is 2x and 4x the mains ac frequency of 50Hz). The amp also gave off the aroma of a burnt out/ burning out capacitor (or similar component) after a few minutes.
