A Stanley Bailey No 4 1/2 wide Smoothing Plane. Type 14, as indicated by the single patent date behind the frog, raised ring around front knob, keyhole lever cap and flat frog. Cutter is a later vintage, likely 1930s, and will need the bevel tidying up, but it is a decent length. Handles are original, rear handle spur has been reattached at some point but feels solid. Body has been repainted/touched up.
