The original rocket shaped lava lamp by Mathmos, inventors of the lava lamp since 1963. Telstars are made from precision cast metal and then chromed to a polished silver finish. One leg is embossed with the Mathmos logo. Telstar rocket lava lamps are inspired by the space fever of the 1960s and have been in production since the early 90s. They remain a Mathmos best-selling lamp. Mathmos’ unique lava lamp formula has brighter, clearer liquids and lasts longer than other lava lamps. Warm-up time is between 1 and 2 hours depending on the surrounding temperature. All bottles are filled by hand at our Mathmos factory in Poole, Dorset.
