I am a professional carpenter and I make pedalboards using leftover materials from my furniture making business. This board has solid oak sides and the decks are made from cotton grade birch plywood with solid oak painted trims. It has bonded carpet tile, instead of velcro. This is a super tidy finish and works brilliantly. I find it much easier to keep clean than velcro. The upper deck is hinged to allow easy access to the substantial space beneath the upper deck. This is ideal for mounting a power supply unit. The oak is finished in Osmo Polyx wax/oil. It has non slip rubber feet. The overall size is 54cm X 40cm.
