The chess set comprises two sets of players, created from twelve individually sculptured pieces (manufactured in stone bonded with resin), based on the illustrations of Sir John Tenniel. The Wonderland pieces' comprise the Oueen of Hearts and the King of Hearts, The Mad Hatter, The March Hare, The Dormouse and the white Rabbit as the pawn.
