This parasol was given by a Japanese girl living in the UK being taught english by my mother. The girl gave my mother this to say thank you. It is from the late 60s to early 70s and is in excellent clean condition. Made of paper and bamboo, the red canopy features an origami style cream design which is strikingly simple. The parasol measures approx 22 inches in diameter. The handle is wood and is approx 15.5 inches with a white spiral plastic wicker hand hold. (See the pictures for details of the catch)
