Whist the plane is marked 'Stanley' the model No. (09 1/2) does not appear in the casting. It can be identified as being the 09 1/2 from the pre 1997 Record Catalogue and comparing the plane to the Stanley Plane - Page illustrated when the plane was supplied in Record Blue.
