Complete with gun, box and original Knox incense cones this piece is in almost unused condition and has probably been kept in its box for most of its existence. This collectable incense burner is an original German Erzgebirge Expertic wood figure depicting a soldier. Made in Germany during the 1960s. The label translates to “it comes in star drawn power, make known God’s joy. Merry Christmas”. These figures were often bought home by soldiers doing service in Germany”. Original Knox cone bag has been ripped open on the back but contains most of its original contents with a mixture of red, green and black cones. With intricate detailing and craftsmanship typical of Erzgebirge products, this wooden soldier incense burner is a testament to the traditional artistry of the region.
