A highly decorative and beautifully made parasol, made in Burma cica 1940. I have included images all round and hope you can see that the parasol is in fine condition. Thankfully, it has been safely stored in it's original metal tube. I have listed it as New without tags, as I believe it has always been kept in it's holder. There are remnants of the original paper label, relating to the Burmese manufacturer Bandaloo. The label tells us they were Gold medallists at the Burma Arts, Crafts and Industrial Exhibition held in March 1940. This was awarded to them by The Honourable Lady Cochrane CBE, Governor of Burma. The parasol would display beautifully and will make a great addition to your collection. Thank you.
