This is a beautiful set of antique porcelain Sunderland lustre ware teacups and saucers of around the 1830s bearing the biblical scene of 'The Finding of Moses', comprising 6 cups and saucers and a milk jug. The cups measure 10cm wide, and the jug and saucer 14cm wide; all pieces are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and little wear - 1 cup and the jug have very slight yellowing, and 1 cup has a small bit of discolouration inside the well (see photo 8).
