The rubbery coating has started to go tacky. i have refrained from cleaning it as i do not want to disturb or scratch off the coating - very common in tascam porta 07. I’ve modded it with a dual speed half speed switch so It’s capable of playing back normal speed 4.75cm/s tapes.
