Points Position Indicator for up to 8 sets of points As solenoid point motors only require a brief momentary contact to operate them, they are usually operated by momentary action toggle switches, push button switches or stud and probes. None of these are able to show the setting of the points on your track layout or a display panel. Our Points Position Indicator board senses the momentary positive pulses from the switch to the point motor. When a pulse is detected it then turns on its corresponding output, this could be connected to a LED on a mimic panel or even track signals, and will show the setting of the points operated by solenoid point motors.
