The cable does not apply for BeoPlay H8i and BeoPlay H9i. This cable will connect an array of speakers, headphones and earphones products (B&O or non-B&O). For example, an iPod, iPhone, iPad, MP3 player, PC or any other device that has a 3.5 mm headphones or LINE out socket to another product with a 3.5 mm jack socket (i.e. BeoPlay H9 headphones).
