This is an Olivetti portable typewriter designed for the user to be able to work in various places using one piece of equipment. Olivetti was a very desired make in it's day too as it was a reliable machine. My wife used this machine back in the early 70's before computers were used in her company. It is a robust machine made of metal and not a cheap plastic model. As it hasn't been used for many years it may require a new ribbon if it is to be used for what it is intended for. However it can be a great prop for stage shows or for a business who likes to used older items as decor or maybe for someone who is collecting this type of machine.
