Marked on the bottom. The Egg is made of fine porcelain with hand-painted floral decorations and a 24 kt gold-plated finish. The foot on which the egg stands has been damaged and repaired, see photos. Under the dome of the egg there is a winding key in the shape of a 24 kt gold-colored flower - this is also the winding mechanism of the music box..
