The is a collection of vintage MILWARD needle packets, including tapestry, canvas,mattress, sail, and couching needles. Made by The British Needle Company Ltd in Redditch, and Millward for Coates Crafts the size 22 needles are large eyes. Some needles are for sewing up knitting, leather with triangular points for sewing plastics. One packet is marked gold seal. With an original 1970's price of 1 and a 1/2p, (Handy Needle Pack) these needles are a unique addition to any sewing or needlework collection. Packets opened Sail,Mattress & Couching Needles light corrosion, may polish out.
