Eternally Terry’s Theme Shellac 78RPM from Charlie Chaplin’s Limelight 1953

This is the 1953 recording of Limelight, from the film of the same name, written by Charlie Chaplin and, on this version, conducted by Ron Goodwin and his Orchestra. The song’s title is actually ‘Terry’s Theme”, which won an Oscar for best song, but was later given lyrics and was renamed ‘Eternally’. This is the Parlophone release of 1953, which reached No 3 in the UK charts. The record is an old 10” Shellac and runs at 78 RPM. I’ve played it through and there are no issues. The reverse side is Goodwin again, conducting “The Song from Moulin Rouge’
