This vintage 1940 AM Ferranti Possibly Bakelite Plastic Milliamperes Gauge or Electrical Meter is a rare find for collectors of scientific instruments. It is UNTESTED, and the glass is loose in front of the gauge. The needle is reading over 2.5, so I guess it has a problem or two!! The moving coil milliamperes meter is made from plastic, possibly Bakelite, showcasing the unique design and materials of the era. While untested, this piece embodies the craftsmanship and functionality of mid-20th-century scientific instruments, making it a valuable addition to any collection. It has the following wording on the dial; Moving Coil, 1940, Ref. No. 10A/11000, No. T 170547 RES 7 ?. Not sure about the last symbol. Please have a good careful look at the pictures.
