Alworthia ‘Black Gem’ is a hybrid between Aloe speciosa and Haworthia cymbiformis. This plant is darker than most Aloes when put in strong light. Lush-green colours whilst growing, turning to dark-black/brown and eventually to orange once soil nutrients deplete.
