Nintendo DS Videospielkonsole

Nintendo DS original. I got this as a gift when it was brand new. I was very impressed with the graphics for a portable console. It looked very clean and colorful. The backlit screen was very nice. The touch screen was a cool feature, but it scared me. I was always afraid that if I pressed to hard it would break. I never did find any games that the touch feature really improved things for me either. I did like having it as an extra screen or map in games. The downside were the buttons. I have heard they are improved on the DS lite. They were way to small for an adult. I know it is aimed at kids but I like video games. My hands would hurt after playing for over an hour. I also think my eyes hurt too from trying to focus on the small screen. The size was nice, and I like the folding unit because it protects it from damage. For a little over $100 I think it s a great deal. I got it when it was $150. I would be interested to try the DS lite because I thought some of the games were quit good, especially reliving Mario 64. It seems lame to just pump out already done games, but some Nintendo games are such classics that why not.
