Motorola L7 cell phone rocks!

Fazit: I would highly recommend this phone. Motorola did a great job, again
I shopped around for a long time and finally purchased this Motorola L7 cell phone for my wife as a birthday gift. Since this model was still too new in US market. I end up ordered it in Ebay. Final price was $345.00 (with shipping) Although the price is higher than what you can get from Cingular, this phone is unlocked.
The package arrived via FedEx within 3 days. Shipping label showed the package was shipped from Hong Kong (I am not surprised)
This is a quad-band GSM phone (900/1800/1900 mHz). Packs with all the features as RAZR V3. My wife hate flip phone. Incredibly slim, this SLVR L7 is slim enough for her to slip in her tight jean pocket. I also ordered a 512MB MicroSD card. That allows her to store hundreds of songs in the phone. She likes this MP3 player functionality the most.

My wife started to complain that she need to re-type all the contact info to the new phone. To make my life easier, I immediately ordered a Motorola Phone Tool 4.0 version (SKU 98741H) It is a data cable with software. Allows her to synchronize data from Microsoft outlook. In my opinion, this Phone Tool is a must have accessory for Motorola L7. Not only you can have a backup copy of your contact list, you can also use that software to create new ringtone. It is so easy to use that even my wife can do it.
Another feature that my wife loves the most is the speaker feature. Sound quality is crispy clear. She can use the speaker phone feature to talk and drive at the same time (I don t recommend that)
