an addictive role-playing game!

Fazit: I'd definitely recommend it. I had a lot of fun playing it. I already can't wait for a sequel!
I was really impressed with the graphics on this game. They are very high quality such as are usually reserved for cut scenes in some other games but this entire game has the high quality graphics. They are sharp and smooth and similar quality to computer-animated movies such as "Toy Story". In the game you are a small robot called "Chibi-Robo" and you were given as a gift to the daughter of the Sanderson family for her birthday by Mr. Sanderson. It is Chibi-Robo's job to help clean the house and to do things for the family to keep them happy. In the game you can wander all around the Sanderson's entire house as this little robot and when none of the Sandersons are around some toys come to life just like in the Toy Story movie and you can interact with them as well. Some of the toys are similar in design to the ones in the Toy Story movie. There are a lot of fun little adventures to be had while roaming around the Sanderson's house in the day and night and you can interact with the Sandersons and their pet dog too. There are some mechanical spiders called "Spydorz" that will attack you sometimes and when you defeat them you get scrap metal and you can make little gadgets with them to help you explore different areas of the house which are more difficult to get to on your own. Chibi-Robo has his own little Chibi-House inside the Sanderson's living room and inside his house he has his own little computer where he can shop online for Chibi parts to upgrade himself. He can also buy flower seeds to plant around the Sanderson's home and back yard. The Sanderson's house is pretty big. You can explore two floors plus their basement and backyard. The downstairs has a living room, kitchen and two-story foyer and the upstairs has two bedrooms (and the foyer area at the top of the stairs). I think the little girl's room is the most fun room because there are so many areas to explore in there. She has a lot of neat furniture and toys. You can explore
each room from top to bottom and sometimes you have to get really clever to figure out how to climb up to some areas or get into some things. Chibi has little helicopter blades among his arsenal of gadgets and they pop out of the top of his head and allow him to fly just enough to get to some areas. He has a little power cord on him and he needs to recharge himself frequently in the household electrical outlets but that only takes a few seconds. When he progresses to a certain point in the game he gets a special battery that never needs charging. Each "day" is divided up into a nighttime and daytime sequence and in the beginning of the game each sequence is about five minutes long. When you upgrade to a different timer then you can extend each sequence to fifteen minutes long so that you have much more time to explore. You do have enough "moolah" (in-game money) at the beginning of the game to get the extended timer right away if you want to. I did that and it made the game more fun because I had more time to explore before the day ended. When each day/night sequence ends Chibi is automatically returned to his Chibi-House no matter where he is in the Sanderson's home at the time. This is definitely one of those kinds of games where several hours could easily pass while you're playing and you'll be so into the game that you won't even realize how much time has gone by :)
