Gautam ThakarGautam Thakar
Chief Executive Officer

As CEO of Shopping.com, Gautam Thakar oversees the overall direction and strategy, while managing day-to-day operations for one of the leading comparison shopping destinations on the web.

Gautam joined Shopping.com in 2008 and transitioned to his current role as CEO in March of 2011. Prior to this role, Gautam was the Global Head of Business for Shopping.com, responsible for all business operations in the company's global portfolio in the US, Germany, UK, France and Australia across the comparison shopping and advertising network businesses.

He is a long time ecommerce veteran with startup, general managerial and international experience. He was previously Senior Director of International Marketing at eBay where he led the Global Marketing Leadership team across Europe and Asia. Prior to this, Gautam was the Country Manager of eBay in India and member of the Asia Pacific Leadership team. He was responsible for the overall strategy and business results of the Marketplace. He joined eBay upon the acquisition of baazee.com, where as CMO and member of the early management team he was responsible for Marketing, Category Management, Product and Business Development at various stages.

Prior to his time at eBay, Gautam served as the regional brand manager for detergents at Procter & Gamble in Asia. Gautam spent close to 5 years with P&G helping launch and build brands such as Tide, Ariel, Gain & Ezee. Gautam was also a member of the Market Development Leadership Team for the Laundry and Health Care business in India and the Philippines.

Gautam holds a Master in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and a Graduate degree in Commerce from Sydenham College, Bombay University.

Satish KatiyarSatish Katiyar
Chief Technology Officer

As the CTO, Satish is responsible for technology strategy, development, deployment and management at Shopping.com. Satish brings over 21 years of experience in development of core technologies in online advertising, search engines, and database servers.

Satish joined Shopping.com in Nov 2012 after spending 3 years at Cox Digital Solutions. As the CTO, he guided the development of ad server, RTB exchange and related technologies. In 2009, Satish founded a startup focused on building a neighborhood social networking product. Satish started working in online advertising space in 2005 as the first employee at Turn Inc., where he was responsible for research and development of industry leading, fully automated ad targeting system and technologies. Prior to Turn, he worked on Yahoo, Inktomi, FAST and Alta Vista web search engines. Prior to web search companies, Satish worked for IBM (Informix division) where he developed and managed the enterprise text search and content management products to extend SQL language and the database server. Satish started his career in 1991 in the software division of an Indian engineering conglomerate in various roles including systems software development.

Satish holds a B. Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from HBTI Kanpur, India.

Bridget DaviesBridget Davies
Managing Director, Global Business

As Managing Director of the Global Business, Bridget Davies leads all business operations in the US, DE, FR, UK and AU markets including Merchant Services, Display Advertising, Internet Marketing and our Distributed Commerce Publisher Network. She also has responsibility for our global owned and operated properties, DealTime, Epinions and Shopping.com.

Bridget is an e-commerce and internet marketing veteran. She joined DealTime in 2000 managing and later leading the Strategic Publishers team where she grew the division from its infancy into a multi-million dollar business while expanding a merchant's product reach everywhere consumers were shopping online. She took ownership of a new business and ran the Search Engine Marketing program where she doubled the business in 3 short years. She expanded her responsibilities in 2009, heading up the Global Internet Marketing and Advertising teams and later in the year began leading the US Merchant Services organization. With a strong track record of consistent results, Bridget took over management of the US Business in July of 2010 and the Global Business in January 2012.

Bridget holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Venky NatarajanVenky Natarajan
Global Head of Product

As Global Head of Product Management, Venky Natarajan is responsible for managing the product vision, roadmap and execution. Venky is a long-time veteran in the advertising and data space. He brings to shopping.com over 12 years of experience in data and advertising space.

Venky joined shopping.com recently from nPario. At nPario Venky as the VP of product management was responsible for delivering the nPario data management platform (DMP) that satisfied the needs of advertisers, publishers and agencies. The product used the Big Data capabilities within nPario’s core platform and enabled customers to create segments using 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data, extend the audience through look alike modeling, bucket users in correct segments on first impression and understand the performance of campaigns through analytics and proactive/actionable insight. He was also responsible for driving key partnerships that extended the nPario solution within the advertising eco system.

Prior to nPario, Venky was VP of product at Adchemy. Prior to Adchemy Venky held various product management and leadership positions at Yahoo in search, display and data related areas.

Venky holds a MBA from Santa Clara University and degree in civil engineering from BITS, Pilani.

Hendrik KrampeHendrik Krampe
Chief Financial Officer

Hendrik is responsible for monitoring and planning the financial performance of Shopping.com and ensures accuracy and compliance of financial reporting.

Hendrik joined Shopping.com in January 2011 after spending 6 years at eBay Germany in various finance roles. During his time with eBay Germany Hendrik was the CFO of mobile.de, a cars classifieds site acquired by eBay in 2004, where he led all financial aspects of mobile.de’s integration into eBay Inc. and assumed the role of CFO for the eBay.de business unit.

Before joining eBay, Hendrik worked as CFO for small to medium size companies mainly in the field of Healthcare & Biotech in Germany with a focus on M&A and international expansion.

Hendrik holds a Master Degree from the Koblenz School of Management (WHU) and has studied at USC in Los Angeles and ESC Reims in France.

Yael AvitalYael Avital
Head of HR

As Head of HR, Yael provides strategic consultative services to business leaders and executives at eBay on human capital needs to enable delivery of business. At her pervious role as HRBP she worked with the Catalog & Classification Marketplaces team in Israel, where she played a key role in leadership development for the organization with an emphasis on manager effectiveness and ways of working.

Prior to joining eBay in 2008, Yael was Division HR Manager at NICE Systems the leading provider of Insight from Interactions solutions. Yael holds a Master in Business Administration with a concentration in HR from Tel Aviv University and a Graduate degree in Business Administration from Ben Gurion University.

Stephen Howard-SarinStephen Howard-Sarin
Senior Director NA Display Advertising

Stephen runs sales, strategy and ad operations for eBay in the U.S. His teams match marketer needs to the data and platform capabilities at eBay Inc., Shopping.com, DealTime.com and Epinions.com, and audience buying across the Web via eBay's Commerce Trading Desk.

Stephen's background in digital media extends back 20 years to before the first banner ad. At CBS Interactive, he managed a portfolio of global digital brands and revenue streams. Prior to that he was VP of Product at CNET Networks and Ziff-Davis' ZDNet. He joined eBay in 2011 to lead the still-new business unit for on-site advertising, and in 2013 gained go-to-market responsibility for off-site advertising as well. He's a graduate of U.C. Berkeley.
